Dr Vanessa Saliba

Consultant Epidemiologist, UK Health Security Agency

Dr. Vanessa Saliba is a Consultant Epidemiologist at the UK Health Security Agency working in the Immunisation and Vaccine Preventable Diseases Division. She has over ten years of experience working at the national level, leading on the planning, implementation and evaluation of the UK immunisation programmes including measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), BCG, HPV and polio. She leads on the UK commitment towards measles and rubella elimination and polio eradication commitments. She is a co-investigator for the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit on Vaccines co-hosted by LSHTM and UKHSA. Prior to joining the national team she was a Consultant in communicable Diseases control in London.
