Spotlight on September issue of International Health
The September issue of International Health is now online and includes two freely available papers:
An editorial by Professor David Molyneux on disease eradication and elimination which sets the scene for this special issue;
An Editor's Choice original article by Kebede Deribe and colleagues on an international Delphi exercise to measure the elimination of podoconiosis;
There are four additional papers on disease elimination, including a commentary by Professor Chris Whitty on political, social and technical risks in the last stages of disease eradication campaigns and a commentary by Dr Adrian Hopkins on strategies for elimination.
This special issue has been developed to support our one-day meeting on disease elimination taking place on Friday 25 September at the Royal Society in central London. Several of the authors in this issue will be speaking at that meeting, where we also be launching a web collection on disease elimination.
