RSTMH Global Research in Progress
RSTMH Global Research in Progress is an online meeting designed for early-career investigators worldwide to present and discuss their unpublished research with peers and senior experts in tropical medicine and global health. This webinar will be followed by an informal networking session for attendees.
Our keynote speaker for this meeting will be Dr Luria Leslie Founou, the RSTMH Emerging Leaders Award 2024 winner. Dr Founou is the Head of Research at the Research Institute of the Centre of Expertise and Biological Diagnostic of Cameroon (cedbcam.com) and has over 10 years’ experience in antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases.
Her talk, titled Unravelling the mysteries of antimicrobial resistance in mothers and children in Cameroon: How can anyone lead change and contribute to a better world, will also explore her career journey and the impact of an early-career grant from RSTMH that funded her research.
This meeting will be chaired by RSTMH Chief Executive Tamar Ghosh. Abstract presenters include:
