Transactions of The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (TRSTMH) was founded in 1908 and offers a respected voice for clinicians, health-related scientists, development organisations and students.

Highlights from our May issue include a Review article celebrating the centenary of the Leprosy Relief Association (Lepra); a rapid assessment of coverage of doxycycline/azithromycin chemoprophylaxis against leptospirosis following the 2018 floods in Kozhikode district, Kerala, India; a short communication confirming for the first time in an English language publication the presence mycetoma in Ecuador; and a cross-sectional study examining the seroprevalence of dengue and chikungunya viruses among urban refugees in Klang Valley, Malaysia.
