COVID-19 and Leprosy: A Look at the Situation in Bihar State, India
RSTMH hosted a conversation with Rajni Kant Singh, State Coordinator for Bihar operations at LEPRA, to explore the impact of COVID-19 on people living with leprosy.
Rajni, who has worked with people affected by leprosy for over 25 years, spoke with Dr Saba Lambert about how to ensure that people with disabilities are not left behind in COVID-19 responses. The discussion covered access to healthcare, mental health challenges, and issues of stigmatisation.
During this interactive event, questions from the audience were welcomed and addressed.
