Global Assessors are a group of around 50 global experts who volunteer their time to help shape the careers of researchers and professionals in tropical medicine and global health. They help us by assessing our small grant applications, as well as abstract submissions and travel scholarship applications for our meetings and events.
Our Assessors work across a range diseases and cross cutting issues in these fields of work, including our thematic priorities of malaria, infectious and emerging disease, neglected tropical diseases, drug resistance, one health and planetary health. At the moment we are particularly interested to see applications from experts in drug resistance, one health, snakebite, microbiology and molecular based studies.
They are also from a range of disciplines including medicine, academic research, public health, law, statistics and modelling, health economics, social sciences and the humanities.
