Dr Cheshta Sharma earned her Doctorate in Medical Microbiology from the University of Delhi, India in 2018. She is a Research Scientist at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, USA. Her expertise lies in infectious diseases, microbiome, mycology, molecular epidemiology, genetics, and antimicrobial resistance. She has authored 30+ publications in high-impact peer reviewed international journals and serves on the editorial board of many international peer-reviewed high impact journals including Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, and Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy.
