Peiyuan Qui

Peiyuan Qiu is an Associate Professor at the Schools of Public Health at Sichuan University. Her research specializes in the epidemiology of mental health among community-dwelling older adults, with a particular focus on understanding the prevalence, risk factors, and intricate underlying mechanisms involved in the development of mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, as well as cognitive impairments like dementia within this demographic.

In addition to her research, Dr. Qiu is committed to addressing the practical challenges of community care for individuals living with dementia. She is actively engaged in developing and evaluating cost-effective community care models aimed at improving the quality of life for dementia patients and their caregivers.
