Alen Kinyina
Alen Kinyina is a public health specialist with extensive experience in maternal, newborn, and child health. He is working as a Project Manager with the Prime Health Initiative Tanzania (PHIT) to implement a BMGF-funded project to evaluate the impact of Group Antenatal Care (G-ANC) and its integration in designing a Machine Learning prediction model for maternal health. His work focusses on improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes through innovative care frameworks, with a particular emphasis on prevention of malaria during pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and sexually transmitted diseases (STIs). He is currently pursuing a MSc in Sexual, Reproductive Health Policy and Programming at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Alen's PhD research focusses on the feasibility, acceptability, and analyzing effectiveness of community-based models of care.
