Explaining AMR: Student Poster Prize 2020

Eligibility and submission

Submissions for Explaining AMR: Student Poster Prize are now closed.

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) and Students for Global Health (SfGH) are delighted to bring you the Explaining AMR: Student Poster Prize 2020.

We invite currently enrolled students to create a portrait poster to introduce antimicrobial resistance (AMR) to members of the general public. The poster can focus on specific groups, or the wider population.

Suggested angles might include:

  • what is antimicrobial resistance?
  • why is it a challenge?
  • why the general public should care?
  • how can it be prevented?

The posters should also consider the need to attract attention and engagement.

Posters will be judged anonymously on creativity, design, content and readability, by a panel of experts.

Student entrants must not write their name anywhere on the poster.

Posters should be A4 and submitted in pdf format.

Who can enter?

  • Entrance is only for currently enrolled students.
  • Each student may enter only one poster into the competition in pdf format (A4).
  • Student entrants must be a member of SfGH and/or RSTMH.
  • The prize is open to current students, based anywhere in the world.
