Caleb Mpyet

Caleb Mpyet is professor of ophthalmology at the University of Jos, Nigeria. He obtained his basic medical degree at the University of Jos and proceeded to undertake fellowship training and was awarded the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons in Ophthalmology. He also obtained a Masters in Public Health for eye care at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Caleb Mpyet has worked as Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Jos University Teaching Hospital and Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Jos. He is the Global Technical lead for Trachoma at Sightsavers and Provost of the College of Medicine at the University of Jos. He has authored over 90 scientific articles and is a recipient of the Internal Council of Ophthalmology, Mark Tso award. He is married and has two children.
