Grace Hood

Grace is a veterinarian and final year PhD candidate in the High-Consequence Emerging Viruses Group, Pandemic Sciences Institute at the University of Oxford. Her research centres on characterising emerging viral spillover events in Forested Guinea (Guinée forestière), Republic of Guinea. Prior to the PhD, she received her Masters of Public Health from Columbia University in the City of New York and completed her training in veterinary medicine at the University of Queensland, Australia.
