Professor Rashida Ferrand

Rashida Ferrand is a Professor of International Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Since 2003, she has been based in Zimbabwe where she directs an interdisciplinary research programme (The Health Research Unit Zimbabwe) that works on public health issues of pertinence to the region including HIV and sexual and reproductive health, infections and antimicrobial resistance and multimorbidity and diseases of ageing. She directs the Wellcome-Funded Africa Health Research Training Programme which aims to provide doctoral training to 25 UK and 25 paired African health professionals in global health.
