Arnaud Iradukunda

Harvard University Alumni, Dr Arnaud Iradukunda is a graduate reading for MSc in Modelling for Global Health at Nuffield Department of Medicine (Oxford University). Dr Arnaud holds a Doctorate degree in Medicine from Kamenge Teaching Hospital (University of Burundi) and bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Lake Tanganyika University. He has also a background in bioethics for research and human rights from UNESCO Chair Bioethics and Department of Education (Haifa University, Israel) and an advanced research training in International Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Over the past five years, Dr. Arnaud collaborated with various National, Regional and International organizations like the Burundian Ministry of Health, the WHO-Burundi, the UNICEF, the Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation of Washington University (USA, as Global Burden Disease research collaborator). Co-founder of ARNECH Research and Consulting Office, Dr. Arnaud is highly resourceful and goal-driven researcher with key interest in Clinical Research, Diseases Modelling, System Thinking and System Dynamics Modelling. He aims to build effective strategies for disease control and prevention with a focus on low- and middle-income countries.

Dr Arnaud wanted to join a dynamic platform of other researchers’ and contribute to increase the RSTMH 's profile and research tropical medicine. Ultimately, Arnaud wants to make a useful and valuable contribution in the world of tropical medicine and global health.
