Carney Battenti

Prior to working for RSTMH, Carney worked within the Higher Education sector, managing, and delivering an award-winning hybrid student engagement events programme.

Carney’s background is in events, with years of experience and vocational qualifications including PRINCE2 Project Management and NEBOSH General Certificate.

Carney studied History and Politics at the University of Greenwich. While studying, he was part of the institution’s widening participation and outreach programme working with local inner London schools.

Outside of work, Carney enjoys playing field hockey, cycling, and travelling.
