Dr Akshatha Ravindra

Dr. Akshatha Ravindra is an Infectious Diseases fellow at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur, India. She has finished Observership in Transplant ID at CHUV, Switzerland, and training in Personalised Bacteriophage Therapy at RMA, Belgium, and BHU Varanasi. Dr. Ravindra is committed to delivering exemplary patient care, advancing medical research, and nurturing future healthcare professionals.

With expertise in managing complex cases like MDROs, fungal infections, TB and HIV, she actively contributes to evidence-based practice and mentorship. Dr. Ravindra's dedication has garnered her numerous awards, including the TAE Outstanding Trainee Award from ESCMID in 2024, the IDWeek Trainee Abstract Travel Award in 2023, and the Young Researcher Award from the Institute of Scholars, Bangalore in 2020. Additionally, she has secured multiple prizes and grants, highlighting her excellence in infectious diseases research and education.

Dr. Ravindra has authored 10 chapters in the "Essentials of Antimicrobial Stewardship" and served as the editor of the book "No Option – The Hidden Crisis & Hope for AMR. Her research efforts have significantly contributed to advancing the understanding and management of infectious diseases, both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Ravindra is dedicated to sharing knowledge through her YouTube channel, "Learn with Dr. Akshatha," where she organizes webinars on various infectious diseases topics, antimicrobial stewardship, and medical controversies.
