Dr Michael Head

Dr Michael Head is a Senior Research Fellow in Global Health, based in the Clinical Informatics Research Unit at the University of Southampton, UK.

He has a background in public health research and infectious disease epidemiology, and his research portfolio includes activity around Neglected Tropical Diseases and also COVID-19 and the pandemic response. 

Michael has also communicated extensively with the media around the pandemic response, appearing many times on TV broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV and CNN.
