Presidents Fund

Submissions are open – Deadline 12 August

Professor Janet Hemingway CBE

RSTMH  are proud to be running the Presidents Fund again, after its re-launch in 2021. Originally established in 1991, the Presidents Fund aims to help RSTMH members from low and low-to-middle income countries pay for their annual membership.

Eligibility and how to apply

The Presidents Fund is open to residents of low and low-to-middle income countries (LMIC) who have never been a member of RSTMH and lapsed members who have been unable to renew due to financial hardship.

Awardees will be expected to show their engagement for RSTMH during the years of membership and this can be through either writing or content creation, volunteering, member recruitment or attendance at events.

Existing RSTMH members at the time of the application period (June to August 2022) cannot apply.

Four candidates will be approved and will have their membership paid in full for three years (worth £360.00). Please only apply if you cannot afford the discount LMIC membership rate.

If you have any questions or queries about the Presidents Fund or the application process, please email RSTMH’s Membership Manager: Adam [dot] Myers [at] rstmh [dot] org.
