International Health – call for papers

The International Health editorial team would like to highlight some areas of particular interest, including:

(1) Papers that examine health issues for first nations and indigenous peoples, including:

  • Prioritisation by aid and economic agencies
  • Reproductive health
  • Health service and strategies
  • Dynamic operational strategy and health system changes
  • Indigenous/First nations pandemic experience globally (i.e., in both LMIC and non-LMIC countries)
  • Interactions with COVID-19 and variant strains
  • Other direct or indirect impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Vaccine delivery, access and equity

(2) Submissions covering humanitarian health issues, including:

  • Mass population displacement
  • Conflict, violence and insecurity
  • Displaced persons
  • Disrupted health services/systems

(3) Planetary and One Health related papers, including:

  • Antimicrobial resistance
  • Mental health
  • Non-communicable diseases
  • The environment, disease ecology and the impacts of climate change (e.g., air particulate pollution, transport emissions and food systems)

We welcome diverse submissions from all geographic locations and authors.
