Aparna is a global health advocacy specialist with over 15 years’ experience in influencing global health policy and public affairs. Aparna's expertise lies in stakeholder engagement and influencing political and policy platforms within the UK, EU, G7, G20, Commonwealth and UN. Through her career, Aparna has developed a wide expertise in parliamentary and government affairs and coordinated several coalitions of multistakeholder networks on issues including tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and neglected tropical diseases. She is currently the Senior Advocacy Advisor at Unlimit Health (formerly SCI Foundation), an international organisation working to end parasitic disease.

Aparna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow and a Masters in the Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
