Dr Abiodun Olusola Omotayo

Dr A.O. Omotayo is an academic, senior researcher and practically experienced agricultural economics at the North West University, South Africa. He has 15 years of professional engagements with focus on the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He has contributed to the UN’s Sustainable targets through the application of applied economics. His research engagements specifically have implications across food-nutrition security, climate change, environmental, health and welfare economics out of which he has published extensively. He currently serves as section editor for three international journals and frequently serve as reviewer for several high impact journals and funding institutions. In addition, Dr Omotayo is a member of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Collaborator Network, Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), University of Washington, U.S.A.
