Dr Anthony Solomon

Chief Scientist to the Global Neglected Tropical Diseases Programme at the World Health Organization

After four years living and working in Ghana and Tanzania, during which time he finished a LSHTM PhD on trachoma, Anthony Solomon completed specialist training in Infectious Diseases in London and became a Consultant Physician at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases and a Wellcome Trust Intermediate Clinical Fellow in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine at LSHTM. Since 2014 he has been Medical Officer for Trachoma and then Chief Scientist to the Global Neglected Tropical Diseases Programme at the World Health Organization.
