Dr Rodney Itaki

Dr Rodney Itaki is a medical graduate (MBBS, BMedSci) from the University of Papua New Guinea. He has also completed a MPH from Divine Word University, Papua New Guinea. In addition he has post graduate focused training in general pathology (PNG), molecular biology and medical entomology (Japan) and hematopathology (USA). His research interests includes improving access to primary healthcare by health system strengthening, examining social determinants of health, diagnostic accuracy assessment of new laboratory tests and strengthening syndromic surveillance systems for infectious diseases monitoring.
