Dr Simone Sandiford

Dr Simone Sandiford is a Lecturer in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences at The University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica.  She is involved in teaching, mentorship and building vector biology research capacity throughout the Caribbean.  Her research encompasses pharmacology, entomology and virology and involves evaluating plant based biopesticides for vector control and pathogen surveillance in mosquitoes and ticks.
