Technical Officer for water, sanitation, hygiene and health (WASH) at the World Health Organisation
Joanna is a Technical Officer for water, sanitation, hygiene and health (WASH) at the World Health Organisation in Geneva. She is a WASH specialist, and has worked in a range of contexts, with particular experience in the interface between evidence and practice and interest in the political economy of development. Joanna holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science. At WHO, she works on a number of cross-cutting issues, including production of normative guidance for Member States, and monitoring of WASH-related inputs, outputs and health outcomes. Prior to working at WHO, she worked at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and WaterAid.
