José Rafael de Almeida

José Rafael de Almeida is a venom researcher working on the composition of snake venom and innovative treatments for snakebites, with a particular focus on preventing tissue muscle damage. He earned his PhD in Brazil and holds an associate professorship at the Universidad Regional Amazónica Ikiam (Ecuador). Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Reading (UK).
