Transactions of The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (TRSTMH) was founded in 1908 and offers a respected voice for clinicians, health-related scientists, development organisations and students.

Highlights from our August issue include a meta-analysis on the prevalence of Taenia solium and Taenia saginata infections in India; a short communication which examines incidence and mortality rates of COVID-19 in patients with chronic kidney disease; an assessment of the epidemiological and clinical features of the 2016–2018 Zika virus outbreak in northern Argentina; and a cross-sectional study and geospatial analysis on the prevalence of, and factors associated with, childhood anaemia in remote villages of the Peruvian Amazon.
