Dr Paul Saunderson

Dr Paul Saunderson is a retired clinician with many years experience in the field of leprosy and other neglected tropical diseases. He studied medicine at the University of Cambridge, and gained an MD degree for his work on nerve involvement in leprosy, carried out in Ethiopia. He is currently working as a consultant for a number of leprosy charities and is particularly interested in the management of leprosy control programs in low endemic settings, where the loss of clinical skills is a major challenge. Paul is still involved in a number of research steering committees and is the Editor of Leprosy Review.
