RSTMH Global Research in Progress is an online meeting designed for early-career investigators worldwide to present and discuss their unpublished research with peers and senior experts in tropical medicine and global health.

Our keynote speaker for this meeting will be Dr Luria Leslie Founou, the RSTMH Emerging Leaders Award 2024 winner. Dr Founou is the Head of Research at the Research Institute of the Centre of Expertise and Biological Diagnostic of Cameroon (cedbcam.com) and has over 10 years’ experience in antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases. Currently, her research activities centre on the epidemiology, transmission, and evolution of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in mothers and neonates in Cameroon and across Africa.

This meeting will be chaired by RSTMH Chief Executive Tamar Ghosh
