Juan Carlos Gabaldon is a Venezuelan Medical Doctor and MSc candidate in Medical Parasitology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He’s interested in studying the reasons behind the re-emergence of neglected tropical diseases in Venezuela and finding ways to tackle them. He has previously done research on HIV biology and the prevalence of primary immunodeficiencies in Venezuela.
