Dr Marcus Stevens
Physician, UK and Critical Care International
Dr Stevens qualified from Oxford University in 2014 and subsequently undertook his Foundation Training in Bristol and Yeovil.
In late 2016, he deployed to southern Mali with Critical Care International and was responsible for establishing the primary care, emergency response and occupational health services, which now care for over 1,000 workers. He also oversaw the planning and execution of a range of community development projects, including medical training in new-born resuscitation and malnutrition, malaria control programmes and needs assessment.
He has recently returned to NHS training and is currently a GP trainee based in Bath.
