Judy Mann-Chaussalet

Judy joined RSTMH in 2016.  As Senior Trust Fundraising Manager she is responsible for building income to support our work.  Previously working as a freelance consultant and Trust Fundraiser, she has a background in business development, international development funding, training, and capacity building.  Working primarily in academic, public and charitable sectors, she managed Rothamsted International, a spin-off from Rothamsted Research for more than 10 years.  This was a non-profit organization working for sustainable agricultural and environmental development in low and middle income countries. While there she established and managed Fellowship Programmes, built a strong international partnership portfolio and managed multi-partner projects in Africa, China, India and Brazil.  As a freelancer, her clients have included the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, ALINe at IDS, NIAB, Chevening and Scriptoria.  She attained her MSc in medical-veterinary entomology at NC State University and her PhD in insect-vectored virus spread at University of Nottingham.
