Singura Peninah
Singura Peninah is a Research Manager, Grants, and Publications at RineCynth Advisory Limited, Kampala, Uganda. She has a special interest in improving access to healthcare for people living with diabetes and hypertension in rural communities and aims at improving rural community health systems for sustainable healthcare. Her research focuses on Integrating Village Health Teams into the Prevention and Management of Hypertension and Diabetes among People Living with HIV in Rural Uganda.
She has worked with Living Goods-Uganda as a community health Manager for over 6 years implementing community health programs aimed at improving child and maternal health at the household level through a network of Village health teams. She has experience in community health programming, Health Promotion, and Healthcare Research.
She holds a Master of Public Health with a specialty in Health Promotion from Uganda Martyrs University-Nkozi and a Postgraduate in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute.
She has a passion for women's personal growth and development beyond just employment, where she has supported women through accountability partnerships for personal growth and development. She runs initiatives like the Women Accountability Buddy Club and the Mastermind Women group. She loves nature, particularly trees and flowerless plants, and she goes for nature adventures in her free time.
