Max Carlos Ramírez-Soto

Dr. Max earned a BSc degree from the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco and completed an MSc in Public Health (MPH) at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Peru. He is professor and researcher in epidemiology and infectious diseases in Peru. He has eight years of experience as researcher and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals that explore clinical and epidemiological aspects of fungal infections (sporotrichosis, chromoblastomycosis, and superficial mycoses) and infectious diseases (cutaneous leishmaniosis, HAV, HBV, HCV, dengue, Zika, and SARS-CoV-2). He also works managing funds in research, and improving evaluation and selection processes in Peru.
He is currently the Associate/Academic Editor for various international journals as BMC Infectious Diseases, BMC Cancer, and Medicine (Wolters Kluwer). He is also an Editorial Board Member in Journal Infection and Public Health, Current Fungal Infection Reports, and Reviewer Board Member in International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. He serves as peer reviewer for various leading journals. He is a Top Peer Reviewer, Publons, Web of Science.
