Transactions of The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (TRSTMH) was founded in 1908 and offers a respected voice for clinicians, health-related scientists, development organisations and students.
Highlights this month include an analysis of the availability, effectiveness and equity of deployment of resources in the health system response to COVID-19 in Nigeria; a comparison of changes in venous lactate and haematocrit during fluid resuscitation of dengue haemorrhagic fever in patients in Sri Lanka; a cross-sectional study exploring the prevalence and associated factors of stunting and thinness among adolescent Sudanese schoolchildren; and a qualitative study examining public perceptions of genomic studies and hereditary diseases in the Aari community, South Omo Zone, Ethiopia.
